0Ingredients
3 medium apples
2 large oranges
1 carrot
1 ½ tbsp gelatin powder
4 tbsp Western Family 100% Pure Maple Syrup
1 tbsp Western Family Collagen Powder
Directions
- Remove the peel from oranges and carrot. Cut fruit and vegetables into one-inch cubes. Using a juicer or a blender, juice the fruits and vegetables. If using a blender, strain the juice with a fine-meshed strainer. You need one cup of juice after straining.
- Add gelatin powder to the juice and allow to bloom for 10 minutes. The juice will thicken.
- Transfer juice and gelatin mixture into a small pot. Over medium heat, heat up mixture until gelatin has fully dissolved. Remove the pot from heat and add maple syrup and collagen powder. Whisk until smooth.
- Transfer mixture into mold of choice. Transfer to refrigerator to set until firm, at least 3 hours.
- Remove jellies from mold and enjoy!
*Note: depending on the produce, you can add more maple syrup if the juice is not that sweet. Jellies will taste more muted than the juice once its set, so you want your mixture to be sweeter than not.
