Frozen pork steaks (defrosted and patted dry)
Bartlett pear, thinly sliced
Honey
Garlic (minced)
Cooking oil
Corn (for side)
Directions

1. Season the pork: Rub pork steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.

2. Pan-sear: Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add a little oil, then sear the pork steaks for 2 minutes on each side until lightly browned.

3. Add the pear: Add sliced pear to the pan and let it caramelize slightly alongside the meat. 

4. Make the sauce: Mix honey, minced garlic, and a splash of water in a small bowl. Pour into the pan. Let the sauce bubble and reduce until the pork is glazed and golden. 

5. Pan-fry the corn: In a separate pan, lightly brown corn kernels in a bit of oil until fragrant and golden.

6. Serve: Plate the pork with pears and honey sauce, and serve with a side of golden pan-fried corn for a sweet-savory finish.
