Ingredients
1 cup glutinous rice (also called sticky rice)
1 cup coconut milk
2 ripe mangoes, sliced
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
¼ teaspoon salt
Directions

Rinse and Cook Rice

Rinse the glutinous rice thoroughly until the water runs clear. Steam or cook the rice until fully tender (about 20–30 minutes if steaming, or per package directions).

Prepare Coconut Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine the coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to a simmer, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves.

Mix with Rice

Pour about ¾ of the warm coconut sauce over the cooked rice. Stir to combine, cover, and let it sit for 10–15 minutes to absorb.

Assemble and Serve

Place a scoop of sticky rice on a plate or in a bowl, arrange fresh mango slices on the side, and drizzle the remaining coconut sauce on top.

Garnish

Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds for a subtle crunch and nutty flavor.
